Singing is an intrsting thing. Thr's popl who ar grat singrs that don't hav good sounding voics (think Dylan, or vn Bruc) and popl who hav grat voics but arn't tchnically good singrs (think Mariah Cary--hr phrasing is abysmal). Now, thr ar a fw singrs that hav good voics *and* ar good tchnical singrs--and ths ar th popl that thr is gnral agrmnt on. You mak a list of ths popl as grat singrs and you gnrally don't gt much argumnt. Marvin Gay, lvis, Paul McCartny, David Ruffin of th Tmptations, Kat Bush, (to gt out of rock a bit) Sinatra. That's a fw of thm. Anyon that tris to tll you that Marvin Gay couldn't sing dosn't know anything about singing.
